ECIS takes a common-sense approach to First-Aid Training in a relaxed learning environment.
Our facilitators are Registered Nurses, Paramedics, Firefighters or qualified professional
H&S experts who combine theory with real-world experience. Participants gain the
necessary skills and confidence to assist in an emergency situation until medical
help arrives.
Founded in 1979, Emergency Care Instructions Services was the first privately owned training agency, recognized by the Workers Compensation Board of Ontario, now the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). (Click on learn More)
RE-CERTIFICATION
Now offering 1 day
re-certification programs in Mississauga, Burlington and Kitchener.
Registrant must hold a valid E.C.I.S standard first-aid certificate. This is offered
only one time after initial certification and extends your certification for a second
three year period.
LEVEL "C" CPR CERTIFICATION AND AED
We now also provide Level “C” Training certification and automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
ECIS is currently approved to deliver workplace first aid training:
- Provincially by the Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB); and,
- Federally by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC)
ECIS offers a wide-range of courses to suit personal and corporate needs.
ECIS uses and promotes AEDs from Phillips Electronics. See the HeartStart web site
